• Design and oversee installation of structured cabling, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi network, and server roominfrastructure across all guest rooms, back-of-house areas, and public spaces. • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and brand IT standards teams to ensure infrastructuremeets corporate and life-safety requirements. • Plan and implement Internet, IPTV, and in-room entertainment systems for guest rooms andmodel apartments. • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for hardware (servers, PCs, laptops, printers, POSterminals, CCTV, access control) and software (PMS, POS, HR, licensing). • Prepare quotations, budget proposals (Purchase Order Budget/POB), and formal approval documents for management sign-off. • Ensure all software licensing complies with local regulations and uses authorized resellers. • Lead the deployment, configuration, and testing of PMS (e.g., Opera Cloud/Opera 5) andits integration with POS, door locks, phone systems, and other operating systems. • Coordinate data migration, user account setup, and staff training prior to go-live. • Implement CCTV, biometric attendance, and access control systems. • Establish network security protocols, firewalls, and monitoring to protect against cyber threatsduring and after pre-opening. • Conduct end-to-end testing of all systems (network, PMS, Wi-Fi, IPTV, telephony) prior tosoft opening. • Prepare system documentation, SOPs, and disaster recovery/backup procedures (e.g., Veeambackup solutions). • Coordinate with brand IT/Corporate IT for final audits and compliance sign-off. • Manage IT capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational budget throughout the pre-openingphase. • Track project timelines against the overall pre-opening critical path and report progress totheGeneral Manager and Project team.
