Was promoted to Operations Manager and reporting directly to General Manager after opening several new stores which is - TWG Tea KLIA International Airport, TWG Tea Gurney Paragon, TWG Tea Sunway Pyramid successfully. TWG Tea Corporate Sales department was added to my portfolio. I had this position until March 2017, when I was promoted to Senior Operations Manager in March 2017, I took over Godiva brand as well.

Driving operational excellence: -Store visits, training and operations meetings to monitor and steer performance. -Quarterly mystery shopper service score above 90% for FY 2017 in all retail and restaurants. Bi-annual brand retail scores improved 10% to 85% since taking over Godiva Brand. P&L and budgetary management: -Maximize sales and profitability in the region. Full ownership of each cost center in the P&L -TWG Tea showed double digit comp growth in 2017, and Malaysia was awarded Asia’s largest growth market for Godiva with 41% sales growth. -Reduced payroll to 18% through revised commission schemes and internal promotion. Business expansion & projects: -Coordinating design, costing, sales mix projection and planning for new stores with projects team, brand and mall management. -Opened TWG Tea KLIA, TWG Tea Gurney Paragon, TWG Tea BSC, Godiva Mytown, Godiva BSC, Godiva JBCS and Godiva Genting Premium Outlets in 2017 and TWG Tea Gardens, Godiva Gardens, Godiva Imago KK and Godiva Sky Avenue Genting in 2018. Talent development: -11 direct reports and 90+ indirect reports. -Championing internal promotion, 11 promotions in my retail management team in 2017 by setting up a supervisor program. Brand relations: -Frequent business reviews and market visits with brand principles in Hong Kong and Singapore. -Negotiating key business drivers; margins, allocation, training, marketing planning and product rollout. Marketing & PR: -Guiding Marketing department to plan product launches and seasonal campaigns & promotions -Planning and hosting 5 successful marketing & PR events and other initiatives in 2018 resulting in coverage with a total PR value of USD650k. -Set up social media for both brands and growing organic following through engagement studies. Corporate Sales: -Leading the sales team to sell tea & chocolates to corporates and hotels, ad-hoc and on contract basis -Created tailored programs, catalogues and targets for seasonal gifting (Christmas, Ramadan, CNY) -60% revenue growth in 2018 by adding 8 multinationals and 7 luxury hotels to the portfolio. -Product management and concept development -Coordinated the F&B menus for TWG Tea in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and created the first lifestyle concept menu for Godiva Genting Premium Outlets. Merchandising, logistics and inventory planning: -Placing monthly product orders, forecasting and allocation of goods. -Reduced weeks of supply to sustainable level (26 WOS) in 2016 for TWG Tea through forecasting and promotional planning. -Reduced delivery time Godiva goods by 3 weeks with Logistics Department. Compliance, safety & hygiene: -Improved operating procedures for cashiering, stock take and cash management. -Lead project team with Godiva to make warehouse compliant to global health & food safety regulations. -Enhanced stock movement management to decrease wastage and write-offs.
