Mô tả công việc

To plan, organize and direct the overall F&B operation and administration of the Chinese Restaurant and to achieve and maintain quality standards as per Hotel F&B manual. Cooperates with all other Department Heads and creates harmony and good working relations among his/ her staff, and develop a professional service team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * HUMAN RESOURCE - To identify training needs and to ensure that department training plans are developed and implemented in accordance with company standards. - To reward superior performance to ensure subordinates are motivated and empowered to make spontaneous decisions. - To encourage and develop individual creativity and skills of all departmental heads through regular meetings and individual counseling. - To ensure company’s appraisal system for monitoring employee performance and development by providing direction and feedback to employee in adhering to service procedure. - To encourage staff suggestion program and other effective methods of two-way communication management by participation. * DAY-TO-DAY OPERATOR - Supervises and manages employees. Manages all day-to-day operations. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence. - Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas. - Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met. * FINANCE - Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention. - Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed. - Manages day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis. - Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations. - Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service. - Acts as the guest service role model for the restaurants, sets a good example of excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations. - Handles guest problems and complaints. - Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction. - Ensures corrective action is taken to continuously improve service results. - Incorporates guest satisfaction as a component of departmental meetings with a focus on continuous improvement. - Manages service delivery in outlets to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure (e.g., greeting from hostess, speed of order taking and food and beverage delivery, fulfillment of special requests, collection of payment & invitation to return). * GENERAL - To ensure Hotel’s Fire, Health and Safety Procedures and implemented. - Encourage the highest possible standard of environmental management. - To perform any other duties or responsibilities as required by Management. * SALES & MARKETING - Participate and energize the overall efficiency of the Sales & Marketing Department in terms of product knowledge, usage of Hotel’s Policies & Procedures, weekly PR Reports and other PR-related reports, implementation of promotions, publicity and advertising, maintenance of expenses, instant guest pacification and personal growth and development within the Hotel Group. - Establish a workflow with Food & Beverage Department and the Chief Graphic Artist for the production of promotional materials. - Energizes the Hotel’s newsletter - Assist in the coordination and planning of all special events for the Hotel. - Coordinate and manage all advertising needs of the Hotel provided by the Director of Sales & Marketing. - Provide copy and translation of all advertisements and promotional material when required. - Act as a liaison for adopted charity and organize PR events to promote the Hotel. - Provide comments to the Sales & Marketing Department in respect to current external environmental conditions, trends, ad campaigns of competitor hotels, etc. - Attend Sales & Marketing meetings weekly and relevant meetings when required. - Entertain selected media groups to maintain or develop a professional relationship. - Conduct site-inspections when required. - Be aware and adhere to the management of all PR activities, in accordance with the Holiday Inn Policies & Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. - Ensure all VIP and media arrangements are communicated, to the Director of Sales & Marketing and Reservation Supervisor. - Manage all guest complaints to ensure instant guest pacification. - Adhere to the duty roster of the Department. - Perform any other duties related to the Sales & Marketing Department, and provide lateral service to internal customers whenever possible. - Be aware of sensitive hotel information and maintain confidentiality.

Yêu cầu công việc

- At least 02 years of working experience in the same position in 4-5 star hotel. - Fluent in English - Customer service oriented - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skill, leadership skill - Good planning, organizing and co-ordination - Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress
