Assistant Spa Manager

1. Promoting and participating directly in programmes to motivate and assess the performance of centre employees.

2. Participating, designing and implementing internal and external sales promotion programs for SPA treatments and services.

3. Promoting and ensuring a dynamic and healthy work environment among all team members by means of fluid and transparent communication.

4. Ensuring direct contact with SPA customers managing comments and suggestions to improve the service.

5. Ensuring contact and communication with various stakeholders (suppliers of products and services, SPA training, etc.).

6. Promoting the YHI SPA concept in dissemination activities at fairs and events both locally and internationally.

7. Analysing reports of daily bookings, treatments provided, cost per day and treatment, activity and programme, customer comments, supply requirements, performance by personnel and specialists creating plans of action to maintain, correct or improve these results.

8. Supervising, designing and participating in the training processes of specialized personnel.

9. Participating in executive committee meetings and responding to instructions given by the Hotel’s General Management.

10. Spreading awareness of the YHI SPA concept by means of presentation meetings with stakeholders (departments in the Hotel, membership department, suppliers, travel agencies, etc.).

11. Monitoring procedures, and the implementation of innovation and improvement plans and programmes to ensure the SPA keeps its cutting edge.

12. Supervising the SPA team regarding the use of company procedures and policies as well as discipline.

13. Supervising and participating in the implementation of the centre’s administration processes in coordination with the Hotel’s general departments.

14. Coordinating and cooperating in operating processes with other departments, such as human resources, maintenance, laundry, purchases, storeroom, public areas, food, drink, etc.

15. Conducting daily assessments of the quality parameters of services and treatments.

16. Immediately attending to customers’ needs, requests and complaints with personalised contact and attention, ensuring the customer’s health, safety and wellbeing remain a top priority.

17. Checking and filing the reports issued in the department to establish corrective actions or suggestions. 18. Participating in the establishment of annual budgets for the centre.

19. Ensuring contact and communication with various stakeholders (suppliers of products and services, SPA training, etc.).

20. Designing the quality parameters of the services.

21. Conveying general brand-related information: checking and updating the quality manual, including, checking and updating procedures and general processes, etc.

22. Facilitating ongoing and initial training for the professionals at YHI SPA.

23. Managing all the indicators for the centre.

24. Producing annual activity reports for the YHI SPA centres.

College degree preferably specializing in hotel/spa management or business

Previous spa management experience required

Good command of the English language
