Assistant Chief Engineer

1.1. The Assistant Chief Engineer works closely with the Chief Engineer to carry out or execute accordingly the Engineering Department duties and responsibilities in accordance with the established Hotel standards. Assist the Chief Engineer to manage the Engineering Department to efficiently maintain all hotel operations, effective implementation of maintenance programs, adherence to safety & security controls, and compliance with government licenses/permits.

1.2. The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible to maintain and upkeep the entire hotel with all its equipment and facility, to manage the maintenance and repairing planning professionally, provide water, heat, lighting and power for the entire hotel, sense of ownership by ensuring the hotel building is safe and efficiently maintained to meet guest expectations through the implementation of a comprehensive rooms, public areas, plants and equipment maintenance program.

1.3. The Assistant Chief Engineer is the person who is the subordinate of the Chief Engineer. In his absence, the whole responsibility is taken by the Assistant Chief Engineer.
