Operation Director

1. Work in conjunction with the General Manager to actively manage key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment)

2. Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short and long-term hotel strategic goals

3. Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceeded

4. Respond to audits that are completed by the company or external ones, to ensure continual improvement is achieved

5. Strives to improve service performance.

6. Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations

7. Comply and exceed hotel and company Service Standards

8. Ensure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analyzed regularly to highlight problem areas and take appropriate action to rectify where needed

9. Coach and develop the Heads of Department reporting to him/her, through objective setting and personal development, to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hotel and company

10. Seek and respond to Guest feedback in order to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction

11. Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team

12. Communicates a clear and consistent message regarding operational goals to produce desired results on a continuous basis.

13. Ensures brand and regional business initiatives are implemented and communicates follow-up actions to team as necessary.

14. Ensures core elements of the service strategy are in place to produce the desired results.

Education and training: Bachelor Degree

Languages: English, another language is a plus
