Chief Steward

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Accepts responsibility for supervising the stewarding department. Achieves the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas including refrigerators, back-of-house areas, receiving areas, and garbage rooms. Maintains and stores all equipment ensuring that it is kept in good condition for use.

Chịu trách nhiệm giám sát bộ phận Stewarding. Đảm bảo tiêu chuẩn vệ sinh và sạch sẽ ở mức cao nhất tại tất cả các khu vực bếp, bao gồm tủ lạnh, khu vực hậu cần (back of house), khu vực nhận hàng và phòng rác. Quản lý, bảo quản và lưu trữ toàn bộ trang thiết bị, đảm bảo luôn trong tình trạng tốt để sử dụng.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Personally supervises pest control and garbage collection activities to ensure hygiene standards are maintained.

Trực tiếp giám sát việc kiểm soát côn trùng gây hại và thu gom rác thải nhằm đảm bảo duy trì các tiêu chuẩn vệ sinh.

-Controls the proper stock levels and cleanliness of all operational equipment used in the Food and Beverage outlets.

Kiểm soát số lượng tồn kho và tình trạng vệ sinh của tất cả các thiết bị vận hành được sử dụng tại các điểm kinh doanh Ẩm thực.

- Prepares all necessary equipment for kitchen operations, banquet functions, and other events. Upon completion, ensures that the equipment is collected, cleaned, and properly stored.

Chuẩn bị đầy đủ các thiết bị cần thiết cho hoạt động của bếp, tiệc và các sự kiện. Sau khi hoàn thành, đảm bảo thiết bị được thu hồi, vệ sinh và lưu trữ đúng cách.

- Trains staff in the safe and effective use of chemicals and equipment.

Đào tạo nhân viên sử dụng hóa chất và thiết bị một cách an toàn và hiệu quả.

- Follows up on the ordering and delivery of operational equipment.

Theo dõi việc đặt hàng và giao nhận các thiết bị vận hành.

- Maintains a general inventory of all Food and Beverage equipment.

Duy trì danh mục kiểm kê tổng thể đối với toàn bộ thiết bị của bộ phận Ẩm thực.

- Keeps records of breakages and damages of operational equipment.

Lưu trữ hồ sơ về các trường hợp hư hỏng hoặc thất thoát của thiết bị vận hành.

- Controls the ordering, storage, and usage of detergents and cleaning chemicals.

Kiểm soát việc đặt hàng, lưu trữ và sử dụng các chất tẩy rửa và hóa chất vệ sinh.

- Supervises the dishwashing area, ensuring that all operational equipment is properly stocked and continuously supplied.

Giám sát khu vực rửa chén/bát, đảm bảo tất cả thiết bị vận hành được chuẩn bị đầy đủ và luôn được cung cấp liên tục.

- Ensures that safety standards and equipment appearance are properly maintained.

Đảm bảo các tiêu chuẩn an toàn và tình trạng bên ngoài của thiết bị luôn được duy trì

- Supervises staff scheduling, including working hours, public holidays, vacations, and sick leave. Prepares and submits employee status documentation using the appropriate forms or verbally when necessary.

Experience working in the Stewarding Department or in Kitchen/Food & Beverage operations.

Ability to supervise, organize, and manage staff.

- Hiểu biết về các tiêu chuẩn vệ sinh an toàn thực phẩm và an toàn lao động.

Good understanding of food hygiene and occupational safety standards.

Experience in managing, inventorying, and maintaining kitchen and F&B equipment.

- Có khả năng đào tạo nhân viên sử dụng hóa chất và thiết bị an toàn.

Ability to train staff on the safe use of chemicals and equipment.

- Có tinh thần trách nhiệm, cẩn thận và khả năng làm việc dưới áp lực.

Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

- Có kỹ năng giao tiếp và phối hợp tốt với các bộ phận liên quan.

Good communication and coordination skills with related departments.
