General Manager

Salary and benefits package TBC.

• Implementing new corporate strategy as defined by CEO/Founder

• Define marketing and sales strategies

• Oversee the operations functions of the Group, as per the Organizational chart.

• Hold regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments.

• Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Group’s annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.

• Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the Group and management.

• Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.

• Draw up plans and budget (revenues, costs, etc.) for the owner.

• Coordination with HOD's for the execution of all activities and functions.

• Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis.

This will be a very hands-on role and, as such, the successful candidate will be expected to be FLEXIBLE and CAPABLE above all. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel/F&B professional with outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends and holidays. In the first instance we are looking for a native English speaker.

EDUCATION:

A university degree in hotel management or a related field with a clear track record. Solid skills in operations, IT, marketing and sales.

EXPERIENCE:

At least 5 years experience in the hospitality/F&B industry, with significant international experience. 5 to 10 years of experience as a General Manager or Asst. General Manager.
