Event Sales Executive/Chuyên viên sự kiện và kinh doanh

A. KEY RESULT AREAS

1. To constantly check filling/tracing system and give advice for improvement (contracts, feedback forms, records of training and completed events, ect)

2. To use Delphi system to effectively manage internal and external events (small and medium size), group series and generate Banquet Event Order (BEO)

3. Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of Vietnamese Law

4. Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented

5. To assist the department to liaise and correspond with relates suppliers for orders

6. Keep an update of suppliers’ file in order to have competitive price

7. To establish and maintain effective employee relations through prompt response and helpful attitude

8. Performs any additional duties as directed by MICE/Catering Manager/DOSM

9. To conduct site inspection and handle guests’ inquiries on behalf of Event Manager when required

10. Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with hotel colleagues

B.GENERAL

1. Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the resort by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.

2. Lead by example at all times

3. Performs additional duties as required by the management.

4. Makes appropriate suggestions, recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the resort.

5. If fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.

6. Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.

7. Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or regulation of the resort is represented.

8. Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors

9. Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of Vietnamese Law

• Proficient in English
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in event sales, banquet sales, hotel sales or a related role.
• Good understanding of event planning, banquet operations and sales processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with excellent relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Opera, Delphi, or other hotel systems is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, proactive, detail-oriented and a strong team player.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required by business needs.
