ENG - Carpenter

1. Preventive Maintenance

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on carpentry works.

- Inspect wooden furniture, fixtures, and fittings regularly.

- Maintain doors, windows, cabinets, and wooden finishes.

- Complete preventive maintenance records accurately.

- Follow preventive maintenance schedules.

2. Corrective Maintenance

- Respond promptly to carpentry maintenance requests.

- Repair damaged furniture and wooden structures.

- Replace defective woodwork and hardware components.

- Restore damaged finishes to Resort standards.

- Escalate major repair requirements when necessary.

3. Carpentry Operations

- Fabricate, install, and repair wooden fixtures.

- Carry out minor renovation and refurbishment works.

- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Select appropriate materials and woodworking methods.

- Maintain high workmanship and finishing standards.

4. Materials & Documentation

- Maintain carpentry tools and equipment properly.

- Request materials and spare parts when required.

- Complete maintenance reports and work orders accurately.

- Support inventory control of carpentry materials.

- Maintain engineering records and documentation.

5. Teamwork & Communication

- Work closely with Engineering Associates and other departments.

- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Security, and other departments during maintenance activities.

- Participate in departmental meetings and training.

- Support renovation projects and preventive maintenance programs.

- Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.

6. Health, Safety & Compliance

- Follow Resort engineering policies and procedures.

- Comply with workplace health and safety regulations.

- Use carpentry tools and equipment safely.

- Report hazards and unsafe conditions immediately.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

- Participate in emergency response procedures.

• Working 5,5 days per week.
• Full salary and service charge provided during the probation period.
• Basic Salary: 8–12 million, based on qualifications and experience
• Service Charge: Up to VND 10 million/month

1. Education: Diploma or Certificate in Carpentry, Woodworking, Building Construction, or a related technical field.

2.Working experience

• Previous experience as a Carpenter or in a similar Engineering role is preferred.
• Experience in an international resort, hotel, or commercial property is an advantage.

3. Professional knowledge and skills

• Good knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking practices.
• Ability to repair and install furniture, fixtures, and woodwork.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting.
