REC - Lifeguard Team Leader

Lifeguard Operations

• Supervise daily lifeguard operations at pool and beach areas.
• Ensure adequate lifeguard coverage throughout operating hours.
• Assign daily duties and monitor work performance.
• Support the Recreation Manager in daily operations.

Guest Safety & Emergency Response

• Ensure guests are monitored at all times in pool and beach areas.
• Coordinate rescue operations during emergencies.
• Perform CPR and First Aid when required.
• Ensure rescue equipment is operational and properly maintained.
• Monitor weather, sea conditions, and safety warning flags.
• Complete accident and incident reports promptly.

Pool & Beach Facility Management

• Ensure pool and beach facilities are ready before opening.
• Monitor cleanliness and presentation of recreation areas.a
• Inspect loungers, umbrellas, towels, and guest amenities.
• Coordinate maintenance requests for recreation facilities.
• Ensure sufficient operational supplies and equipment.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, coach, and motivate Lifeguard Associates.
• Conduct on-the-job training and safety briefings.
• Monitor attendance, grooming, and work discipline.
• Assist with performance evaluations and development plans.
• Foster teamwork and a positive working environment.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Resort policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of pool and beach areas.
• Ensure Associates comply with safety regulations.
• Participate in emergency drills and safety training.

Administration & Coordination

• Complete operational reports and departmental records.
• Monitor inventory of towels, rescue equipment, and supplies.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, and Front Office.

• Working 5,5 days per week.
• Full salary and service charge provided during the probation period.

1. Education:

• Graduate from Vocational School / College or equivalent or a related field is preferred.
• Valid Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are mandatory.

2. Working experience:

• Minimum 1.5-2 years of experience as a Lifeguard or Recreation Associate in an international resort or similar environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.

3. Professional knowledge and skills:

• Strong knowledge of pool and beach operations.
• Knowledge of lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid procedures.
• Ability to supervise daily operations.
• Knowledge of recreation equipment and facility maintenance.
• Good coaching, communication, and guest service skills.

4. Attitude and behaviours:
