F&B - Food & Beverage Intern

Guest Service Support

• Ensure all guests are welcomed in a polite and friendly manner and receive attentive service at all times.
• Interact with guests to gather feedback on food and service quality, helping resolve complaints in a timely manner.
• Support upselling efforts to increase average spend per guest while maintaining high service standards.

Outlet Operations

• Support the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the department in line with company standards.
• Assist with setting up dining and service areas.
• Support administrative duties to ensure the department runs efficiently.

Standards & Presentation

• Maintain department facilities, presentation, and service levels in line with WorldHotels brand standards.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the department.
• Set and maintain the highest standards of grooming, hygiene, and personal presentation at all times.

Inventory & Facility Support

• Support monitoring of inventory usage, ensuring outlets are stocked with linen, glassware, silverware, and other essential items.
• Visually inspect outlet facilities and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

Communication & Learning

• Maintain open communication between guests, management, and service Associates, discussing operational matters with colleagues or supervisors.
• Actively participate in training sessions and required meetings to develop skills.
• Adhere to the resort's safety and security standards.

General

• Utilise standard software programmes such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as needed.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Monthly allowance 2.500.000 - 3.500.000
• Working time: 8.5 hours/day, 1.5 days off per week

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a College degree or higher in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, Languages, or related field

Working experience: No prior experience required; internship or part-time experience in a guest-facing role is a plus.

Professional knowledge and skills:

• Basic proficiency in IT systems; eager to learn F&B service standards and procedures.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.

Attitude and behaviours:

• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
• Passion for excellence in service and teamwork.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Language proficiency: Good command of written and spoken English to meet business needs; additional languages are a plus.
