Recreation & Leisure Manager

• Directs and controls all subordinate associates to ensure that day to day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met

• To ensure and coordinate the operation of Recreation Department, achieving the guest satisfaction and expectations

• Provides guidance and assistance to Recreation Supervisory staff helping them in the execution of their responsibilities and helping them to set their own goals and objectives

• Oversees the service standards in all recreation areas ensuring that they conform to the requisite standards and meet or exceed customer expectations

• Plans and executes activities as directed

• Approves duty rosters, vacation planning and scheduling and public holiday planning

• Prepare the Recreation annual budget and helps to control departmental expenses

• Conducts frequent checks ensuring mise-en-place, service procedures, standards of cleanliness and hygiene, repair and maintenance, associate grooming and manning levels are in order and takes appropriate action where necessary

• Carries out administration requirements, prepares and submits reports on time as directed

• Selects trains and evaluates of subordinate associate

• Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops subordinate associates

• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in the similar role
• Self-motivated, results-oriented
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
