ASSISTANT CRUISE MANAGER - Overnight

• Support the Cruise Manager in managing daily onboard hospitality operations and guest experience.
• Take a key leadership role in Food & Beverage operations, ensuring consistent service quality across restaurants, bars, events, and other onboard F&B activities.
• Supervise and support F&B teams during daily operations and peak service periods.
• Ensure food and beverage service standards, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction meet Ambassador Cruise requirements.
• Coordinate closely with the Cruise Manager, Executive Chef, and other department heads.
• Conduct operational briefings, monitor staff deployment, and follow up on service standards.
• Engage with guests, handle requests and complaints, and provide immediate service recovery when required.
• Assist the Cruise Manager in supervising overall onboard operations when needed.
• Train, coach, and motivate service teams to deliver professional and personalized hospitality.
• Act on behalf of the Cruise Manager when assigned.

• Strong background in Food & Beverage operations, preferably within a 4–5-star hotel, luxury resort, fine-dining environment, or cruise operation.
• Previous experience as F&B Manager, Assistant F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Cruise Manager, or a comparable management position.
• Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, service standards, banquet/event operations, and guest relations.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage frontline service teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest-handling skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Hands-on, energetic, service-minded, and highly adaptable.
• Able to work onboard and according to cruise operational schedules.
