Outlet Manager - Tailor Shop

What you’ll do

• Welcome customers and understand the style, fabric, occasion, budget and delivery date they have in mind.
• Help customers choose from our sample garments and patterns, and discuss any changes they would like to make.
• Advise customers on designs and fabrics, prepare quotes using the shop’s price list, and clearly confirm the price, deposit, fitting schedule and delivery date before accepting an order.
• Accurately take and record measurements, reference images, pattern choices and design details. Confirm the order specifications with the customer before sending them to a tailor.
• Coordinate with our partner tailors in Phú Quốc: provide clear order instructions, confirm fabric requirements and production timelines, follow up on progress, and arrange fittings and alterations.
• Inspect finished garments against the agreed design and measurements, and help resolve any issues before delivery to the customer.
• Track fabric received, fabric allocated and used for each order, and remaining stock. Check physical stock against the records, flag low stock and request replenishment in time to fulfil upcoming orders.
• Manage orders, deposits, payments and daily sales. Reconcile cash, bank transfers and sales records, and report any discrepancies.
• Film and post short TikTok and Instagram videos featuring garments, the tailoring process and the in-store experience. Always obtain a customer’s permission before filming or posting their image. 
• Keep the shop tidy, maintain sample garments and patterns, and suggest ways to improve the service.

• A warm, confident communicator who can assist customers in English and communicate clearly with local tailors in Vietnamese.
• Strong attention to measurements, design details, fabric usage, prices and deadlines.
• Honesty and accountability when handling payments, customer orders and inventory.
• A good eye for style and a willingness to learn about fabrics, fit and the tailoring process. 
• Experience in fashion, retail or customer service is an advantage; sewing skills are not required.
• The ability to film, make simple edits and post short videos using a phone.
• Comfort using Google Sheets and AI or other similar tools to track orders, fabric stock and sales.
