- Coordination through the department heads of such work tasks as planning, scheduling, and motivation of employees, etc.
- Evaluating work methods and procedures for efficiency and give feedback/ instruction where necessary
- Creating and upholding a good working environment through performing evaluations of employees, encouraging communication and taking action with any problems that come up.
- Ensuring the products offered are meeting the demands of the guests and brand standard
- Observing the efficiency of the operations, through daily checks, observations and reports; initiating action and instructions where needed;
- As a last instance, the handling of complaints from guests; checking with VIP guests and large reservations before and after stays if they are satisfied, handling any special requests.
- Creating departmental budgets with ideas and examples for investments. Ensures the Departmental budgets are being adhered to by departmental managers. Participate in the preparation of the Budget and the sales and marketing plan.
- Providing a contribution to company policies, by participating in management meetings. Providing ideas and making joint decisions about ideas from co-workers. Ensuring the implementation of approved decisions and SOPs
- Maximize profitability by optimizing revenue while maintaining costs within the approved budget.
