Sales Manager (MICE | HCMC based)

The Sales Manager – MICE is responsible for developing and securing MICE business to maximize room, meeting, banquet, and F&B revenue for the resort. The role focuses on acquiring corporate clients, event organizers, travel agencies, and other business partners to position the resort as a preferred destination for meetings, conferences, incentives, and corporate events.

The position works closely with the DOS, Revenue, Events, Banquet, and operational teams to achieve business targets and deliver exceptional five-star event experiences.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new MICE business opportunities through corporate sales calls, client visits, networking, trade shows, and industry events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, and key business partners.
• Proactively solicit and secure business for meetings, conferences, incentive trips, gala dinners, team building, and corporate events.
• Develop and implement MICE sales strategies and action plans to achieve assigned revenue targets.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts tailored to clients' requirements and budgets.
• Work closely with the DOS and Revenue team to establish competitive pricing and maximize overall MICE revenue.
• Promote the resort's accommodation, meeting facilities, banquet venues, F&B offerings, and recreational experiences.
• Coordinate with Events, Banquet, F&B, Rooms, and other departments to ensure smooth event planning and execution.
• Conduct site inspections, fam trips, client presentations, and post-event follow-ups.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities to strengthen the resort's MICE positioning.
• Maintain accurate sales records, client databases, sales pipelines, forecasts, and activity reports.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-years’ experience in Sales Management role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work long hours and ability to travel locally and internationally.
• Ability to develop plan, liaise and communicate effectively with clients and all stakeholders.
• Experience in budgets, forecasting and managing sales figures /reports is essential.
