Position: General Manager
Job Description:
- Establish and maintain the relationship/reporting procedure with the hotel owner
- Directly be responsible for the sales, marketing, operation and revenue management strategy of the hotel
- Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comment in order to be proactive and adapt with business intelligence
- Manage the operations of the hotel in order to maximize profitability and to ensure superior guest service and product quality
- Responsible for ROI, Budget, Business plan together with the department heads.
- Manage performance issues that arise within the management team
- Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary
- Ensure guest and employee satisfaction to create a friendly working environment while maintaining market competitiveness and high financial performance
- Promote the community and eco-friendly image of the hotel.
- Be an inspiration to all hotel staff to achieve the highest level of performance
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations

Job Requirement:
- Minimum of 5 years operational management experience, preferably in a luxury 4-5 stars hotel setting; pre-opening experience will be an asset
- A strong understanding of hotel operations and administration include: budgeting, forecasting, operations, human resources, sales & marketing
- Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and / or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches
- Must perform well under stress and be adaptable to changing work environments
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Must have fluent English; other languages would be an asset
- Previous work experience of 2 years in Asia is preferred
