− Identify potential Accounts and business opportunities for the properties in Vung Tau. Conduct regular Market Surveys and Competitor Research. − Evaluate market reaction to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans meets changing market and competitive condition. − Develop and recommend pricing strategy for the organization which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run. − Continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding resort goals to produce desired results. − Supervise the Front Office and Sales team to ensure optimum occupancy and average room rate for the purpose of maximizing revenue. − Manage the operations of the Front Office Department by ensuring product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to all hotel guests according to the hotel’s standard. − Integrates business information and foresees events which may directly or indirectly affect the property’s business plan. Analyzes business results and works with executive committee to develop an effective strategy to address needs. − Organize and take part in sales tasks, to maintain current guests and develop the market share. Ensure a high level of exposure for company through direct sales solicitation telephone contact and written communications. − Make business plan for department as per target set by Finance Director (or FC), to organize the execution in order to achieve set target, including reports on potential risks from guests’ debt. − To be responsible for all issues relating to guest room and to resolve all guests’ stay relating issues, helping to provide guest satisfaction at all times. − Ensure the respect of procedures and hygiene and safety standards. − Manage headcount and organization for optimum efficiency in compliance with legislation and help the department in meeting its targets. − Organize, manage and supervise the guest service operations of Sales, Front office, call center, Concierge, etc. at Front office area and Sales Department ensure the best guest’s welcoming and serving. To host the morning briefing of Front Office department, periodic and sudden internal meeting. To organize all procedures and regulation in relating to Front Office operations. − Attend morning briefing with Board of Management and other Heads of Departments. − Prepare welcoming VIP guests process as per VIP Guest’s SOP, organize and follow up the VIP picking up from the airport to the hotel and inform General Manager for guest welcoming at the lobby. And organize hotel’s event particular in welcoming VIP group. − Meet guests in person to resolve guests’ complaint, or send feedback to guests’ comments. − Consider and resolve any room booking relating issues, to keep booking record of old guests and attempt to attract new guests. − Conduct comprehensive monthly departmental meetings to include a review of procedures and events. − In conjunction with the Emergency Response Team prepare emergency procedures upon advice from relevant authority that cover such emergencies as Fire, Power Outrage, Bomb Threat, Cyclone Warnings, etc. − Works with Human Resources on manpower planning and management needs. − Coordinate with Board of Management and other departments: − Coordinate with HK to control the room status and any relating issues to room’s maintenance, to coordinate the room maintenance schedule and room booking schedule. − Coordinate with Director, F&B management team to develop an operational strategy that is aligned with the business strategy and leads its execution. Collaborate with F&B and other departments to make sale strategies and conduct promotions to attract the customer. − Coordinate Sales & Marketing Department with Accounting departments to review room price every day, number of room sold, to adjust room price to ensure the obtaining of the best revenue every day. To ensure the invoice is made at the appropriate timing as per guests’ request.
